Box for Word Cards

Hi all,

I just worked out that the word cards (you know theme words etc) actually fit perfectly into the new OMO Small and Mighty 875g boxes perfectly.

We use OMO sensitive so there should be no issue should there be any residue on the box etc (I have vacuumed it out anyway!). I've just covered one with paper, and stuck a label on the outside. It has the flip top lid - which obviously doesn't "join up" because you rip off the tab thing to open it. I have just put two holes and a ribbon to tie it together for transport. In the classroom I suppose it would not need to be closed all the time...

Anyway, just thought I'd pass on the idea. Might not suit everyone. I've just printed and laminated a whole heap of cards to use with my own children at home (and for future classroom use - I will be finished my degree at the end of this year) and thought it was the perfect fit!

I colour code the different parts of speech, based loosely on Jolly Grammar, to help with writing and sentence structure eg nouns-blue, adjectives-light blue, verbs -red, adverbs-orange, where words-green, when words - yellow.
