Hi everyone - thanks for your input into this - any more suggestions? As we will be updating this resource next week (better late than never!)

We are actually going to include as many different timetable options as
possible - this may mean more than 50 options - but we want to include
as much as we can so that many different circumstances are covered -
this includes all areas, literacy, maths, bathroom time etc......

So please add your timetable / group work label suggestions...

Hi everyone - hope all is well for you all. We are looking to update our literacy groups / task board labels template and would love your input.

We would like to know what literacy groups / task titles you would like to see. For example - free writing, read with teacher, computer, handwriting folders.

We are more than happy to have as many different titles as people would need so please be as specific as you like and we will add them to our template.

Appreciate your input and looking forward to finding out more about what you all need.

Hi Donna,

In my literacy groups I sometimes have the following.... sounds/phonics games, sight words games, dictionary work, listening post, guided reading, worksheets/stencils, felt stories and sequencing..hope this helps!!

I use Guided Reading, Reading Response, Literacy Circles, Spelling Activitiy, Literacy Games, Writing Activity, Grammar Activity, Computer, Listening Post, Read, Write and Draw to name a few more....

I have seen in some classes the following-Guided reading, listening, Viewing, Author study, grammar, writing (some use wpecific genre title eg, poetry, narratives, etc) handwriting, tracing, research, library, brain break-one rotation is a physical activity time for students to re fuel, could also be fruit break if the rotations go for the whole 2hr block and student rotate every 20-30 mins.

Hi, in our Literacy groups (2 kindy classes combine), we run 6 groups .
Guided Reading, worksheet related to text, Talking and Listening, Sight word Activity, Literacy Game and Writing. I magnetise these to a whiteboard and write next to each the activity for the week.

In our literacy groups we have the following activities: spelling, handwriting, grammar, guided reading, reading response, big book focus activity, internet or computer activity, dictionary, act out / puppet play,

Hi Donna, I use some of the following in my literacy centres:

Reading Centres include: Book Box, Make and Do, Reader's Theatre, ABC Activities, Word Game, Listening Post, Big Books, Computer Centre, Teacher (could be guided reading or language experience etc.), Library Corner, Buddy Reading, Fun with Words (Crosswords, Word Search, etc), Letters and Sounds, Literature Circle, Newspaper Activities, Comprehension, Felt Stories, Puppets, Oral Language Activities, ...

Writing Centres include: Handwriting, Spelling, Writing (Recount, Narrative, Report, etc), Teacher, Author's Chair, (fine motor skill activities such as Beading, Nuts and Bolts, Pegboards, Paperclip Links ..), ...
